Ahoy, me Hearties! Congratulations to Playcraft Systems for winning the coveted “Best in Show” prize at the 2014 National Recreation and Park Association, NRPA, Congress and Trade Show.
The competition was fierce with almost 400 commercial playground equipment companies fighting for the prize.
The Best In Show
“The coveted Best in Show prize, is awarded to the most engaging and innovative booths on the floor. After all the votes were in, Playcraft Systems took home the first-place blue ribbon for an island booth thanks to their popular pirate ship playground complete with costumed staffers and pirate hat giveaways.
The NRPA annual conference’s show floor is the most extensive place for park and recreation professionals to learn about and experience new possibilities for their communities, and with 91.3 percent of this year’s surveyed attendees noting that they play a role in the purchasing process for their agency, this popular component of the conference is an invaluable resource for park and recreation departments looking to renew or expand their offerings.”
LuckyDog at the Show
Because LuckyDog Recreation is the Utah and Idaho sales and installation rep for Playcraft Systems commercial playgrounds we were eager to jump in and help at the NRPA Congress.
CJ Stoddard, LuckyDog Recreation Construction Manager and Jordyn Goebel, Distribution Manager, represented us at this year’s show.
“All the play equipment manufacturers bring their latest and greatest inventions for Congress participants and customers from all across the nation. Playcraft’s Pirate Ship Structure received the ‘Best in Show’ award, the most prestigious award of the entire event”, said Stoddard.
It was Jordyn Goebel’s first time at an NRPA trade show. “Attending the biggest trade show of the year was a great learning experience for me. I had loads fun”, said Goebel. “We helped out at our amazing booth and met lots of customers.
We assisted in dissembling the Pirate Ship after the show was over. It was also really nice to see the booth set-up of other commercial playground equipment manufacturers we represent in Idaho, Wyoming and Utah such as Dog-On-It Parks and BPR by Bison.”
Imagine how much fun your Buccaneers will have on their Pirate Ship! So bring home the booty from Playcraft Systems and LuckyDog Recreation.
